For the past three years, Damon and George have had an obsession with the music and art of the Italo Disco and Space Synth genres. We think we’re getting Nate to like it but we’re not quite sure yet. The design began as a simple animation of our logo moving across a grid which JYK then took and made, in our opinion, about one hundred times better and we’re very thankful for that. It has a grid, a spaceship, intricate space fields, and yes, that is the typeface they used for that movie, Drive – What more could you want from a shirt? Fun fact 1: The name for this shirt was a prospective title for our album which ended up being named, “Future, Towards the Edge of Forever,” and is also a play on the title of Vera Rubin’s book, “Dark Matter, Bright Galaxies” Fun fact 2: George DJs parties spinning Italo and Space Synth on vinyl as Beatsaface |

| Though the internet might know her better as @leiaj (follow at your own risk), Leia Jospe has been a close friend of ours since the early days of this band. She was at what must have been our fourth or fifth show ever and has unceasingly supplied us and many other artists with her great pictures. Elegantly laid out and rendered in a highly styleized halftone pattern by JYK, the photo was taken by Leia at Blip Festival 2011. We’ve been working closely with him for quite a while now and are continually pleased with the caliber of his work and these new pieces are no exception. One inch in diameter, these lasercut pendants are engraved with the Space Party logo. Matte and mirrored styles available in acrylic, natural and silver painted styles available in wood. |
Future, Towards the Edge of Forever double colored LP with download card | $23
| Our first proper studio album, “Future, Towards the Edge of Forever,” was self released in May of 2011 and is currently our pride and joy. With amazing art by Asif Siddiky throughout the entire package, the colored vinyl edition of this album is strictly limited to five hundred pieces and will never be re-pressed. | If it wasn’t for skateboarding, Damon would never have met Peter Berkman from Anamanaguchi and in turn Starscream would most likely have never come to be. Front cover features skater, Jason Sherman blasting down an eight stair covered in art by Enso.
